OUR TEAM OF 21 WORKED HARD ON THE WORKSITE DURING A VISIT IN FEBRUARY, AND THE PAST YEAR'S FUNDRAISING PAID FOR WINDOWS, CONCRETE AND TILE FLOORS, AND A ROOF!  IT WAS OUR SECOND AMAZING EXPERIENCE WITH THE PEOPLE OF EL PEDREGAL.

Our mission is to raise $18,000 by February 2006 to complete the building of a school in an impoverished mountain village in the Dominican Republic. Our idea germinated in February 2005, when we participated in constructing the foundation of the building in a small village called El Pedregal.

"One week in El Pedregal changed our lives. This remote village taught us more than we could have ever imagined -- about the humanity of people who have little in the way of material things, but who have an abundance of spirit, kindness and love."

The DREAM Team Mission truly exemplifies our goal to help better the lives of those in need, by helping to provide a place of education for the children of El Pedregal, who currently have to walk over an hour to get to school.

The money we raise will cover the expensive costs of materials and equipment needed to complete the building. We cannot do it without your help!

Here in the United States, we often take for granted the availability of a superior education, and the luxury of a school bus picking us up at our homes every day. In the Dominican Republic, education (one of the most valuable things in life) is not readily available.
